If I gave up my bread, I'd be left with foliage. Not going to happen.

Youd still have your beer. If you gave up your bread, thered be more grains to brew!
It's an interesting point. But I can't toast my beer or have it before I go to work.
Are you kidding—that's the best time to have it.

I now read some of Sisson's "Primal Blueprint". While it contains lot's of useful information there's also an abundance of the naturalistic fallacy throughout it. He also recommends vitamin supplements which we all know by now are to be avoided. He's even selling vitamins under a "Primal Blueprint" brand.

Let's just say there's ample room to be skeptical of the other claims based on these quick observations.

I read the primal blueprint and it seems like 75%% good science and 25% woo, give or take 25%.  Some things do make sense such as the meal time not being an evolutionary principle but merely a societal one.

However, the whole question of vitamin supplementation is unclear to me.  I know some recent research said that vitamin supplementation did not aid life expectancy? or something (I don't have the study(ies) at hand), but I seem to recall the research being suspect.

I mean if you are overweight, never exercise, and eat tons of sugar and refined carbs AND take vitamins...well...is it the vitamins that are hurting you?

Being fat and living unhealthy does not prevent toxins from poisoning your body. And certain vitamins at certain doses are just that.

So exercise, stay away from sugar - AND vitamin supplements. ;-)

Cool new study with an eye to why one is prone to regain adipose tissue after a calorie restricted diet.  Go for it Jay.
