No reservations at that place.

Here's what I recommend instead:
http://www.blueribbonrestaurants.com/rests_bakery_main.htm

a block from there and they DO take reservations  ::)
So when i get a second and third, I will make the call.

It's a little bit pricier than I'm used to, but for a four dollar difference I think it's a good find. So seconded.

Uh, sorry, man, I must've given that to you.  But I got it from cedric, so it's still his fault.  I hope you're feeling up to meeting us—this joint makes their freedom toast with challah!

Yoo-hoo, MisterMarc.  Freedom toast.  Yummy freedom toast.

I know a lovely little place across town, a little Irish burger joint called "McDonald's." It's more in my price range.

Actually, I have friends in town, so will be entertaining. Sorry, kids. (I know...you're all dying inside, now.)

My point is that I'm disappointed that I won't get to meet you, my little stroopwafel, but I'm looking forward to meeting Mainah, Belgarath, and Henning (who likes red), and seeing DRmeg and superdave and andrewclunn again.

Ten-day forecast on weather.com says 47 and sunny!  Excellent walking weather, if my bus doesn't run late like it did last fall.
