Thanks again guys. WTN is another spot-the-theme, starting at 61:17. Easy enough to Google who's speaking, but I can't think of anything they have in common. They all mention hard work as the way to achievement (in the full transcripts, apart from the second clip), but that seems a bit tenuous to be the link.

Correction/trivia: Strictly speaking, "robota" is a very specific form of forced labor that originated in feudalism, whereby serfs were obligated to work on their feudal lord's fields a certain number of days per year. Even at the time that was a different institution than outright slavery, and along with its derivative word "robot" it continues to have a different connotation in the Czech language today. The name "Čapek" is pronounced with a "ch" sound at the beginning, as in "chubby". Finally, "Rossum" is an allusion to "rozum", meaning "reason, intellect, common sense".
