Goddamnit... it's real.  This is staggering on a level I cannot begin to describe.  "What the hell?" just doesn't do it justice.  It's about 8 or 9 levels above WTF too.  It's not that the post exists, it's that people seem to be responding to it seriously.  Thankfully, their advice seems to be, "Don't do it," but everyone posting seems to think it's at least possible in principle.  There's no posts that say, "It can't be done, spirits don't carry sperm, go meet a real human/seek help."  Humans frighten me sometimes...

Yeah, it's just... it's not funny, that's how far into the strange it is.  You have to wonder about someone who first came up with the idea, then searched for a likely sounding forum, then decided to post about it on said forum.

I'm not surprised by this site at all. Sleep paralysis is a real phenomenon and the experience can be very real and terrifying. On the bright side, I doubt all the people posting to the board are really all that crazy. I suspect most of them are trying to make sense of an inexplicable experience and either don't know about sleep paralysis, or refuse to believe their very real experience could have been sleep paralysis. They would rather believe they've seen a ghost than believe something went wrong, even temporarily, with their brain. In many ways a visitation by a horny ghost is a much more comforting thing to accept than not being able to trust what you see and hear.

this made me wonder... has anyone claimed to have a sexual desire for their god/gods?  Not just someone saying they love jesus, but physically attracted to the idea.  I would think something like that would be more common.

It sounds like something that would be common. I'm sure that Ive heard something about that... Maybe it was something a little bigger with the polytheistic gods though.
