Post rock is pretty loosely defined.  It's also my favorite type of music.  Share your favorites!

[For people who've never listened to post rock, a note: the songs are usually long (5-25mins) and some may seem boring at first.  They often start off slow.  Give them a chance, you'll probably like them!  Or, if you're listening to GSYBE, you'll get knocked out of your chair!]

Here are four bands that best represent what I think of when I think of post rock:
