I've heard all of these before, but like the way he puts them. It also occurred to me that the one which says, "you shall not sow your field with two kinds of seed" would ban most backyard gardens.

To which I say: If you’re going to ignore the section of Leviticus that bans about tattoos, pork, shellfish, round haircuts, polyester and football, how can you possibly turn around and quote Leviticus 18:22 (“You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination.”) as irrefutable law?

Yeah, come on! They're only bound by the parts of the old law they feel like being bound by!

    Obviously, Christians pay heed to the parts that obviously aren't barbaric, and ignore the bits that obviously no longer apply for, like, obvious reasons, and stuff.  There is widespread agreement on this, obviously.

Thanks for adding that last quote in there, and saving me from having to look it up.  Clearly "wisdom" is the province of God, and He bestows it upon us through teh bibble.  And teh bibble dun say the erf is flat!

Wait what? So, it's OK to go sleep with your brother's wife, but to dare spill sperm on the ground is heresy?
