Went into McKay's Used Books in Knoxville yesterday.

What's wrong with this picture?

I count at least two things...

1: 5 copies of 2 of Sam Harris' books.
2: I have a better selection of Atheist books than they do.

The other thing I noticed...

Take a look at the label for the next shelf. They used to have at least a second shelf to contain all the godless heathen tracts.

Now that second shelf is "Spiritual Journeys" - from which the Shirley MacLaine book must have escaped!

Theosophy is a somewhat strange bedfellow for atheism and agnosticism, however, there is a tendency of those who leave moderate religions to go through a 'spiritual' phase, so that might be the logic of the book store.
