Rutgers Webcam Spycase jury may reach a verdict today

He shoulda taken the plea bargain.  The way I see it the case is pretty solid for the charges of invasion of privacy.  Bias intimdation charges seem reasonable and I think it's 50/50.

I will be glad when this is done.  As a long time rutgers student..this case made me sick to my stomach.

I think Invasion of Privacy will stick. Not sure on the bias inttimidation.

I hope they deport him if found guilty of either.

The jury was less lenient than I expected.

That doesn't seem like a high bar.  If a person commits a crime that was not intended to be a hate crime but is perceived that way, it is still a hate crime.  I suppose the consequences are the same.
