Further discussion about anything besides health care should take place in Forum Administration & Rules.

So discussions regarding SCOTUS rulings through history or the Court (or lower courts) and the body politic of our history, as it pertains to the Court of bygone eras, or of the contemporary era, or any matters of Constitutional Law or its interpretations by the Supreme Court; I suppose all of this is for the Forum Administration & Rules too. Makes total sense. It's not like this has anything to do with the Supreme Court of the United States or the Congress or the Executive Branch.

You overlooked the word "further". It's an important word in that sentence.

That (new) thread had great potential to turn into a continuation of the old (locked) one. I wanted the new one to stay bicker- and spillover-free, as well as staying clear of discussions about moderator actions.

Can you at least, um, split the crap parts off from the non-crap ones? I for one am getting a little bit tired of some members of this forum apparently complaining about topics which are legitimate but that are inconvenient for them and getting them shuttered or pushed into inappropriate forums.

Negative. Did not overlook a word, refer to the words that made up your sentence and don't retroactively bestow importance to words. Read your own sentences in their entirety and pay close attention to what you actually say;

If you want to stay clear of moderator discussions stop bringing them up and stick to the topic or follow your own rules. But hey, locking things up and moving things around works, and deleting content works too, Beleth. I don't feel like bickering with you, but I did ask a specific question and got petulant squabbling and moved shit and locked threads and deleted content instead of an answer for some reason, which I guess is kind of an answer. I am in the middle of sharing some of my photography and paintings with my friends here, I'm like in mid post, and I guess I'll include my contact info and my site URL before I flame out and rage quit. So after I hit post over there, I'll leave you to rule over your little hill. Natalie was right about all of this.

Yes, that is what I said. What that means is that discussions like the one we are having right now belong in Forum Admin & Rules. Discussions about how stupid another member is would count as bickering and/or spillover and have no place anywhere, of course. Discussions about SCOTUS rulings through history etc. would not be "further" discussions and would therefore go wherever they are most appropriate - probably in Politics.

If you want to stay clear of moderator discussions stop bringing them up and stick to the topic or follow your own rules.

I don't mind moderator discussions, but there's a place for them, and Forum Admin & Rules is that place. And I'm following my own rules by splitting the thread and moving the FA&R-appropriate part to FA&R.

Whoa whoa whoa whoa. Locking things and moving things are part of a moderator's job, but deleting content? No, deleting content does not work (unless it's something like a stupid gore-porn video). I go to extreme lengths to not delete anything outside of Explicit, and the other mods know this. Nothing to my knowledge has been mod-deleted out of either of the healthcare threads in Politics. If you know of something that has, please let me know, and I'll deal with it appropriately and swiftly.

Not sure what specific question you are referring to, unless it's the one in the OP in this thread, in which case you got an answer; it's just not the answer you wanted. As for rage quitting, well, that's your choice to make.
