I dunno, man, this has the potential to get seriously emo up in here.

Can I go meta and submit a picture that's out of place for this competition?  If so, then...

Here's mine:

I actually have a whole album of things like this - just random stuff I'd see walking around the neighborhood.

Housekeeping note: Deadline may be subject to change this week. My folks are in town visiting so I'm not sure when I'll have chance to get to a computer to set up the poll. Might be a bit earlier on Sunday, might even be Monday. Who knows? Not me!

I've been meaning to ask you; what setup do you use to take the tilt/shift photographs?

I was playing with this one on the phone, and the web app, and the downloadable Flash app for a while. And, then of course, there is the tiltshiftmaker.com web app. But, having grown up on PS since 91*, I always find ways to fiddle there. Every tutorial out there is in some manner the gradient tool in quick mask mode, and some tweaking of saturation/brightness/contrast (the "Lens Blur" filter works better than the filters suggested in this link, in more recent versions of PS).

This shopping cart got over post processed, I think, lost in between some nightmarish combination of tilt-shift and Lomo.

Hah.  My photo wasn't meant to be a submission, but since it's probably not going to win anyway...meh.
