I actually have a really hard time watching if I care who wins.  I didn't watch game 7 in 2006 (when the Oil lost to Carolina) and I didn't watch overtime in the 2010 Olympics.

*cough*Oilers suck*cough*

Watching the Oilers lose in game 7 is the next best thing to watching the Flames win. At least we can both agree that Vancouver blows, though.

I wanna see a Blues-Panthers final. That would be way weird.

I've been liking STL out of the west for months now.  I was one of the ones picking PIT from the east though.

Well almost everyone I picked to win in the first round lost, so much for a Vancouver/Pittsburgh final!  Looks like I'll be cheering for the Rangers who barely, and I mean barely, beat the Senators in game 7.  I've never seen pressure like that for such a long period of time where New York just couldn't get control of the puck, let alone get it over the blue line.

It be nice to see a L.A. vs N.Y. final, two big markets, one where hockey is fairly popular and the other will get a lot of band wagon fans

I should have gone with my heart the first round - teams I was cheering for were 6/8, but my actual picks were only 3/8 (STL, NYR, NJD).  :P

Looks like LA Kings are the real deal, knocking off #1 Vancouver and now #2 St. Louis.  If you look at their lineup its not a shock what they are doing, as they have numerous ~30 goal scorers and 4 players with Stanley Cup rings and 4 more players with Olympic Gold or Silver medals.  They look good on paper and now look good on the ice.  LA vs NYR !

The most "who cares" final in recent years.

I care, but it's been a looong stretch for me with no games (I missed the last few due to scheduling - should get to see tomorrow's game though).

Who are you hoping will win?

If L.A. win it will be a big deal because they'd be the first 8th seed to win the cup.

If N.J. win it will be a big deal because that'll make 4 cups for Brodeur, equaling Roy's record. Which may or may not be THE record. I forget.

I think I am rooting for Brodeur.

I just hope L.A. wins tonight and this awful Stanley Cup playoffs is finally over!  This has been the worst playoffs in recent memory with every series going the opposite of what I wanted and/or predicted.

After L.A. went up 3-0 I just wanted them to win at home because it hasn't been won on home ice for 5 years now- but they blew game 4, now they can win at home in game 6 tonight, but the way these playoffs are going they won't cuz thats what I want.

P.S.  The NHL really needs bigger nets, if they won't crack down on goalie equipment  scoring is never going to increase with these MichelinMen in net, I'm sick of these 2-1 games

Give me a 2-1 game over a 6-5 game any day. I agree that goalie equipment needs to be regulated but not because of low scoring.
On a different note I have really not cared for these playoffs because of the out right nasty and cheap play. The late hits and intent to injure plays that have happened are bad for hockey. Most of the times you see this in the first round and then fade as the playoffs progress. Now it went all the way to the conference finals. I can't comment on the finals because I have not had a chance to watch them. I will tonight. I gotta pull for the Devils.

Gotta tell you, living out this whole thing via the twitter battle between @wilw and @ThatKevinSmith made it more exciting for me than I expected.
