Amusing and interesting thread. But I have to ask: what does being a 'veteran' have to do with anything?

We take an oath to defend the US from enemies foreign and domestic, he's probably alluding to the more "domestic" enemies if he believes the 9/11 conspiracy. He might also be assuming that he's more patriotic for his stance.

But really it has nothing to do with this topic, I'm a Marine Corps veteran and my ancestors have served in the US military going back all the way to the Revolutionary War, and I don't find any of the evidence for a US government 9/11 conspiracy compelling. period.

Then answer me this:

What is 2 + 2?

I also don't think being a veteran gives me any special insight into these sorts of things.

Of course you MAY have been secretly brainwashed to not notice the obvious conspiracy.

MIA...I was at my step-grandpa's funeral. He was a Marine...I have to give it up...you jarheads sure honor your fallen brothers properly. Military honors at the cemetery tear me apart every time. Glad to be through it. And to those dis-info scabs who wanna bust in and call me stupid/nuts/deranged right now....you are not even worth debating on these serious issues.

You see all these fine skeptics surrounding you? They have proudly pounced during my absence? For what? In hopes to convince me, and the few reading this forum page, that I don't see/think like experts? It will probably work on everybody else, but must they constantly try to convince me? That is not why I am here!

One convinced me to chose just one topic for debate. I knew I was getting backed into a corner and even announced I was aware they wanted to pin me down to one thing so they could pick it/me apart.  Then they proceeded to "destroy" my simple points with massive amounts of "evidence". It is just their expert interpretation of videos that I don't even bother watching anymore. Like I need to be an engineer to see properly and think with basic logic. I even suggested a simple math procedure for a test. Even a math equation was discredited? There are too many "motivated" messenger killers around here. I primarily wanted to talk to you, but now feel a need to stand up for my beliefs. I don't want to have to debate my beliefs with you while being attacked at a 10/1 ratio.

Now they make fun of my simple points by how many ways they can come up with 4. Your skeptic 911 truth killer squads are like rude (ADHDcubed) kids on a playground pickin on a lone kid. The lone kid has occasionally punched a bully in the mouth to save his sanity, long after they had it coming. These skeptics only want to debate and belittle my thoughts and beliefs, never doubting  their own. They are either not capable of being self skeptical, deeply brainwashed, or paid to protect the official story. If they treat me like we are school kids, I will not hesitate to point out their schemes and motivations.

Why can't we debate my entry about what percent in "todays skeptic groups" side with big government trends and agendas. Might it reveal these groups as government/big business PR lobby groups that may unknowingly be getting their minds nudged. The fake skeptics make me feel like Not Sure from Idiocracy. Except this modern batch of humans have been dumbed down with too much information. So much information overkill, that they will even question the very circuit between your eyes and your mind. If they can't agree on the BS scientific details, let them argue the disinfo folks on my side of this equation. Both sides forced in a secluded private chat room so they don't annoy the rest of the world while they perpetually react to their enemies next reaction.

If I stick around, I will end up in fights with the pro confusion artists, and I will call them out if I think this. They obviouslyly cannot let me have any credibility in a "skeptics" forum(just that should prove something to a real skeptic)...period. I even predicted what they were doing to me as they did it and it didn't stop them. Once I was gone they did a page or two of typical crap to destroy yet another 911 truth idiot. Good job organized skeptics/humans! You all should be proud of this den of vipers. You can all hang out, agree, and protect your beliefs without me here. I'm now only a target to make your argument seem more correct...I get it! I don't like it and should go help those who want or seek this simple logical truth before they become "official skeptics".

Ironically, you belong to a group of skeptics that critique a group of humans more skeptical than 95% of those in this forum can consider. Pretend skeptics say I have trutherism...like it is a diagnosed mental condition. What a joke. Every human must be skeptical to survive. Does this group help you focus your skeptical/human instincts. My short experience here has taught me that it sure does. Will skeptics allow me to add that to my knowledge base since I learned it through personal experience? Or must I confirm what I have learned with your brand of skeptical experts before I can say I know it as fact around here?

If I have pushed one person towards waking up to this harsh reality one day sooner...this sure as hell wasn't worth the effort.

I'm not the most spiritual person by any means, and few like funerals? Parts of the experience I enjoyed today, and every now and then it doesn't hurt one to enter the religious community atmosphere. Believe what you wish about theism/atheism/creationism/evolution....Being asked to hold or shake the hand of a stranger and wish them well or telling them peace be with you is calming and healthy. That has nothing to do with god. I hope to get better at building friendships and helping communities join together and strengthen while moving forward.

This place has proven to be a complete waste of time for that pursuit. Good luck.

(i think 1/2 page of comments should be enough to discredit this message...I've got a terminal case of trutherism, I pose little threat to your "skeptics club")

Honestly badger, I don't think a single person here took you seriously before your first post so we're not trying to convince anyone of anything.  For the record, I tried to avoid anything related to 9/11 and focus on your accusations about the JREF, but that you just dismissed.  I thought you'd at least explain yourself a bit, but I was mistaken.

I guess I'm just at a loss.  What exactly is your goal with all of your work if you refuse to talk with anyone in anything more then generalities and insults?

I feel bad for truthbadger, can you imagine living in a world believing that stuff is true.

On a related note, I commented on the JREF blog story that started this whole thing and linked to this forum thread. It was moderated and never posted. My post didn't contain anything controversial, inaccurate, or profane in any way and still didn't pass moderation. What's up with that site?

Apparently some people prefer that reality to the reality of things happening for not a great deal of reason, or at least in this case there being a small, 19-man conspiracy rather than a sweeping, thousand-man conspiracy.
