We finally have an official trailer... God, has it really been almost 2 months?

STARBOUNDER official trailer

And me and Craig just bought an appshout package to get the exposure up and hopefully have a more profitable second round of sales. Not that I'm complainin'... the first round paid quite handily for the media package. We shall see...

Did you tell me something about a big-ass video screen in Times Square?

Perhaps, but definitely for something else.
Those Skylanders trailers are out now for E3, but the one I worked on is such a wide aspect ratio, you can only see it on a screen like in Times Square or the inside of a stadium.

Dude this is a fun game. They should have steered that Speed Racer game I worked on to you guys, you definitely nailed the way that game should have gone in terms of playability, challenge level and graphics. You really got all the elements of good mobile device game play.

Would you guys take on projects as a third party developer? I might be able to introduce you to a few people out here with start ups...

Awesome, jeremy.c, thanks!
We have some lingering questions around the challenge level. We wanted to make a game we would enjoy playing ourselves and which hearkened back to old PC gaming. I was always pushing for a little more difficulty, my partner was always pushing for a little less... to be more accessible. Experienced gamers tend to appreciate the challenge, but maybe that's the wrong market to go for on a mobile. A lot of feedback from friends and family is "it's too hard!"
What do you think... and how far did you get yourself?

We would consider projects, yeah! It beats going into the city to work.

No worries there!

Are you rich yet?

We made enough to pay a month's rent apiece (compared against the ca 11 months we didn't work on anything else)!  :) But we decided to put it back into marketing, buy a service, see if we can get another, bigger round of sales out of it.

I just bought it.  Very cool.  Now, if I can just get over the motion-sinckness...

 ;D
Seriously, though,  it's fun to play. Nice job!
