As I said, I don't have any photos of me from when I was really fat, but here's a flabby one from a few years ago with gut sucked in.

You lost so much weight that all your chest hair fell out.

It was a strenuous diet. The secret is to eat radioactive food; hair-loss is an inevitable side effect.

I wax my chest occasionally.  I get five, maybe six hairs.

I've actually done that—it's really painful. I've done my back, too, and the pain of that isn't even close to the chest. I normally just clip my chest hair short.

I guess it might seem weird to many here. I just don't like the look of body hair.

It probably doesn't seem weird to any female in the habit of shaving her legs.

I'm totally jealous and want to know how you did this.

I know what you mean, but it seems less usual for a man to trim chest hair. Not that I'm apologetic about it; I have a couple of metrosexual tendencies to temper my boorishness!

Thanks, man (I'll take jealousy as a compliment). There's not much to getting in shape, it's not easy, but the main thing is consistency, finding a balance of calories in versus calories out (after ditching the flab, I've found an amount that enables me to stay lean without going hungry, which is also hopefully enough to slowly put on some more muscle).

I run half an hour four or five days a week, and do weights three times (40-50 minute workouts).

Oh, and if you want to remain lean long-term, strip the fat slowly. Too fast and you're almost guaranteed to gain it back.

Face blanked because I'm just paranoid about privacy and putting anything on the web that could be associated with my offline self.

I'd run or lift weights if I could do it sitting in front of my computer.

I'm pretty sure a simulation would accomplish the same thing. Just find one and you'll be set, man.
