I'm currently trying to write an idea I've had for a short hard-science fiction story by using short-ish vignettes of story accompanied by music written to tell the story sonically (in some way).

Due to my largely misplaced overconfidence, I'm in dire need of both musical critique/feedback and technical scientific advice from engineers and the like.  A strong familiarity with Arthur C. Clarke (particularly Rendezvous with Rama) and the more fanciful bits of future technological speculation.

The idea is to release each piece of story and music as it is completed in a series as 'episodic music.'  To be clear, this isn't some LOST project where I don't know where the story is going.  Yeah, it will get a little crazy, but that's kind of the point - try to push the imagination a bit.

I can provide story outlines, musical notes etc and I've written the first section of story and music in a semi-rough draft form, with the working title "Saganites of Hypatia."

To put to rest any fears - that is not a 'cult' or 'religion' or science at all.

Hope to meet some cool new folks :)
