A lot of people are going to loose their jobs and I hope some criminal charges are filled.

Cops in my town have murdered people while on video and gotten away with it. Hey--these are police. They live by different rules from you and I.

This.

Its why ive been contemplating starting a "police brutality" podcast.

Calling out the bad cops, honouring the good ones kind of thing.
But i imagine I would just be asking for legal trouble doing that.

Sadly, you could be asking for two to the head.

Yepp, that's why I've bee apprehensive, been contemplating coming up with an alter ego to podcast under, but it would be easy enough to track me down anyways

Also, it doesn't have to be a literal two to the head to ruin your life.

Everyone should be terrified of the cops. They aren't there to protect and serve.

Eh, i think the majority are there for the right reasons, but there are enough bad apples to spoil the batch

Yes. The bad ones give a bad name to the other five percent.
If you still hold the same views now as you did in high school, you probably should reexamine those views.

for how long?
do people who go in for the right reasons not end up corrupted and obedient little thugs?

This leads me to another question

Would there be any way for me to do a police brutality podcast without putting a target on my head?

I think this varies by PD also. Our local cops are pretty mellow compared with lapd.

A wise man once told me, "never piss off a cop." It's really good advice.
