You ever wonder if Yoda was in fact totally senile and his speech impediment was just a symptom of a dementia, in which case none of his wisdom should be trusted ?

There are too many to choose from, but "Everything happens for a reason" is the first to come to mind. I absolutely HATE it when people say that. Especially after something truly horrible happens. What a moronic, dickish thing to say.
