Agree.  1 of the wildest games I've ever watched!

For the last half hour or so I just kept repeating "unbelievable..."

Yeah I was so impressed with how Chelsea could hold down  the middle and Drogba was the man before he got subbed off, despite giving up the penalty which shouldn't have been called. The Byron Real game has a lot to live up to.

I'm certainly not one to cheer for Chelsea however, nice job boys!

Now as long as Bayern can put away Madrid, we'll finally have another German Champion!
Well.  There it is.

That's my hope as well.

And Drogba's penalty was 100% legit.  He was nowhere near the ball and Fabregas may have embellished a bit, but there was definitely a foul.

Drogba literally didn't touch Fabregas, he dived, that's hardly embellishing, that's complete fabrication. He flings his legs back, football is the only place where people fall upwards. It's a really soft penalty, it's basically saying that any missed tackle in the area should result in a penalty. Fabregas touches the ball away from goal to win a penalty, he's anticipating a foul but it never comes. It's in clear view of the linesman and the official by the side of the goal, probably the referee as well, really bad by all of them.

I have no idea what you're talking about.  I've seen several replays of the incident and Drogba clearly makes contact.  I agree that Fabregas embellishes it and probably could stay on his feet, but the point is that Drogba was nowhere near the ball in his tackle and that's a foul.

I've just seen a replay, and I saw it several times on the night and Drogba does not make contact. Drogba was nowhere near the ball but it's a ridiculous dive by Fabregas.

Penalty Incident Chelsea v barcelona 2012

Here's the incident (shitty quality, but w/e).

Pay attention to 0:13-0:14 where Drogba's right knee makes contact with Cesc's left knee.  It's not a lot and I'm pretty sure Cesc could probably stay on his feet, but that's not the point.

I've seen it a dozen times now and I still can't decide if it was a foul or not.

Regardless, it was a first class game. Incredible drama.
Even though everyone in the pub started off supporting Barca by the end they were applauding Chelsea's goal.

Here's hoping for another cracker tonight!

I can't see any contact, it's not the right angle to show that, and Fabregas's leg doesn't move as if there was contact on the knee.

I reckon it's close enough that the official deserves the benefit of the doubt.

The Madrid-Munich game was another killer game to watch.

The final is going to be awesome!

The final is going to be awesome!

Unless, of course, you're a Chelsea supporter.
Well.  There it is.
