Certainly at least based on those photos, Randi. Dennet's is scragglier and more homeless looking. Not that that's without its charm, but it's not luxurious.

Incidentally, if you've ever had a beard, you know it's anything but luxurious. Scratchy, strange, itchy when it's growing, but not luxurious. Admittedly I might feel more comfortable about it if I was male.

Randis beard is far too clipped and controlled to ever be described as luxurious.

Randi looks as if he has, after much negotiating, reached an uneasy truce with his beard. Dennetts beard on the other hand seems more like a friend than an adversary..

A friend that hangs out on your couch all day long drinking beer, burping, and talking about football, perhaps. I'd much rather have Randi's beard as a friend than Dennet's.

I have to go with Randi. I tried to grow a full beard but can only get a "luxurious" chin and mustache. The cheeks definitely look homeless if I try to grow them. Randi's beard is luxurious all over.

As of last weekend, I can assert that Randi's beard is a good two inches longer and more luxurious than it appears in that photo.  It looks very thick, and bright white, and neatly groomed.

I wish I'd had my camera with me for the moment when he alit from a taxi wearing a sweeping, wizardy, black cape (red shirt peeking out underneath) and a smart black fedora with dashing feathers on one side.

Faaaabulous!  But the hat was crisper and the feathers much more extravagant.

My husband decided* to grow a beard a couple months ago. He said everyone keeps asking him if it itches, but it doesn't. Why is it supposed to itch?

(*OK, it was mostly my decision, but he didn't protest at all.)

No idea, actually.
