It's interesting how little fact checking is ever involved with news stories that gel with our prejudices. Not to mention items that unite the Daily Mail and the HuffPo.

I only saw this story third hand via atheist podcasts (chastising atheists and themselves for being too eager to believe it), but didn't just about everyone run with this, not just HuffPo and Daily Fail (not that those two don't warrant special mention for turning lack of standards into a business model)?
