With all due respect, I didn't. I speculated on the reaction of certain audience members to a comment made by a panel member about her love life. I meant no disrespect or offence and was just trying to make a funny. In point of fact, people make similar comments about public figures all the time. Had I been a member of the board when Jay was away on his honeymoon, I would have said the same thing.

If I am aiming a modbox at a specific person, I name them in the modbox.
Sometimes modboxes are just general admonitions, like a stop sign. I'm not saying that anyone has, or is going to, speculate about love lives, but that's a plausible way the conversation could head, so I'm nipping it in the bud now.
