Apparently Bob Welch just permanently removed himself from the picture via a gunshot blast to the chest.
Aside from the tragedy of the situation and the desperation that I presume pushed him to such an act, it seems strange that anyone would choose to die by discharging a weapon into their chest (in that it would unnecessarily prolong the experience).
RIP, Bob.
