I'm wanting to get into hip hop

Hey!!

I'm looking to expand my musical horisions and was thinking of getting into some hip hop, looking for track/artist/album recommendations?  If it helps i can't stand Eminem but think 2pac is awsome!

Plastique:
Strictly 4 My Niggaz by 2Pac is his best in my opinion. Not so much into the rest.

My favorite hip-hop is mostly (but not all) '90s era.

Top recommendations:
Ice Cube - pretty much all albums up to Lethal Injection where he started really going downhill for my taste.
The Notorious BIG - Ready to Die, fucking amazing record.
Wu-Tang Clan - Enter the Wu-Tang, perfection.
NWA - especially Niggaz4Life
Aesop Rock - especially None Shall Pass
Beastie Boys - especially Paul's Boutique
Cypress Hill - first three records
Outkast

Neutral Milk:
I'm by no means an expert, but as someone who doesn't listen to too much hip-hop I can tell you what I like.

2pac is 90s gangster rap. It seems like Wu Tang, BIG, Ice Cube are good recommendations for that.

If you're interested in listening to pop rap I'd recommend:
Outkast - Aquemini
Kanye West - Graduation
Kid Cudi - Man on the Moon

A little harder to get into but I'd also recommend:
Das Racist - Sit Down, Shut Up

I'm not really into hip hop, but I would say that most of the rap that I enjoyed at a younger age was in the 90's.
