Just your garden variety male here. Nothing fancy.
If you still hold the same views now as you did in high school, you probably should reexamine those views.

What does "identity" describe, if it doesn't include sex or attraction?

What sex you identify as. A trans woman is physically male* but of female gender orientation.

*At least until hormones, surgery, etc.

Ok, I think that kind of makes sense. I have genuine questions--but I believe some would take offense at them, so that's good enough for me.

Not sure I should have voted, as I am not all that "active."  I lurk far more than I post, but I am a woman, and I think there are probably more of us out here on the fringes.

Does this ratio reflect the listening audience of the podcast or the larger 'skeptical' community?  It's pretty damn close to the pilot ratio.

I am a boy.

Male, more masculine than not, XX, pan/bi/whatever but not very sexual anyway so I don't really think about my orientation.

+1

I used to be more active, but then college/research/life happened, and now I don't really have time to read enough stuff that I actually want to reply... so I just skim threads that look interesting when I feel like it (I am a woman, and I also voted).

I think for the purposes of this poll, if youve been on the forum and seen the thread then you count as active.

At any given point in time there will be a selection of "less active" members who have popped in for their fortnightly look around or whatever, so the less-active members who are currently dropping in and seeing this thread are still an important part of what is making up the "active members" at a specific point in time. You might not be here in a week's time, but some other less-active member will be instead.

I mostly play mafia but I frequently lurk the other sections and occasionally contribute (though I am usually too shy to say much/anything substantive because I'm always afraid I'll say something spectacularly stupid).

Anywho, I did vote- woman/female/feminine/whevs.
