I nominate letting the mods make a decision based on the feedback.  Some of these options will actually be satisfied by other options.

I am not for complete shutdown, but I am for moving the explicit photos to a different section so that we can still have the conversations that sometimes pop up in explicit.

I feel there is a place for Explicit which allows non-pornographic, sexually, or otherwise, explicit conversation not appropriate for non-adults.

I'm OK with a sub-forum where pornography can be displayed with the opt-in.

I'm thinking of dividing it along three lines: 1, 2+3, 4+5.
Whichever one of those is the highest wins.
Then if 2+3 or 4+5 wins, whichever of opt-in or regular had the most votes wins.

I should clarify something, people will still be able to use language/ask questions/vent life frustrations of a sexual nature if Alley method was adopted won't they?

I would support the other non opt-in option, you could also do a run off between 2+4 and 3+5 to establish opt-in or not.

I chose number 3.  Of all the choices I think this has the most positive outcome and the least negative.  The only reason I wavered between 3 and 1 is the idea of having our name continue to be associated with sexual content not being great for our image, but ultimately I think having a non-visible space for users to continue to do whatever they want is acceptable.

I'm fairly shocked at how easy going this discussion has been. Wasn't there a lot if drama when the explicit section was created in the first place?
