Your Best Lifts

(1/4) > >>

Plastique:
What are your highest personal records for weight lifting exercises (any lifts)?

Tatyana:
The most weight I have moved is 285 kg/627 lb on leg press.

Plastique:
Free weights!

Johnny Slick:
I don't run max weights because that's basically a wasted day to me. Back when I was in high school I remember maxing out at 295 on the bench and I know that I was topping out at around 220 when I was still doing bench since coming back (I switched out to flys to mix things up last year; once I have to stop going to my work's gym and sign up to a regular place I'll probably switch back). Otherwise, I am a weakling. :(

Karyn:
I haven't looked at my 1RM yet, though I probably will next week.  In high school, I got up to 425lbs on the leg press and 145lbs on the bench press.  When I worked at FedEx, I would have to deadlift 125lb tires into a truck for 2 hours straight at least once a week.  I'm sure I could have lifted a lot more.
