SGU Photography Competition: Colour- Red
« on: Jun 22, 2012, 01:58:35 PM »
Welcome to the this weeks competition where we see a return of the colour theme, this time:

Red

The last one, Blue, had a load of excellent entries, so no pressure there to up the game then.

Closing date for entries will be Sunday 1st July (or thereabouts), so get snapping and posting.

Also, don't forget to head over to the Discussion Thread to let me know what you think.

Well, not Scarlet, but certainly red. Be good if somebody could identify this plant, too, which grows on the Ca coast south of San Francisco. (north of it, too)

First time I've ever tried putting a photo up here so this may or may not work....

In any case, I did this with a really long exposure and my iPod, it was my first go at light painting.

Looks like the standard is reaching its normal heights. Great. Looks like I'm going to get really thinking.

Did you put a spoiler on this due to how vulgar it is?

Most definitely! Then you can experience the pleasure of people telling you that your camera takes good pictures. Trust me, it's awesome.

Hmm. I don't think I've got anything already in my library suitable. I may have to (gasp!) go out and take a photo specifically.

Ha!  I love it for that reason, however, I didn't want to get it confused with my real entry when people are looking through the thread before they vote.

I know nothing about photoshop etc so my photo is straight from the camera.
