The reader chose to read it a way favorable to their opposition to TF.

I guess you completely missed where I stated:

I don't know this guy from a hole in the ground

I didn't/don't have any particular "opposition to TF" or whatever his complaint is about the FTB.  I wasn't even talking about any of that.  The only thing I've commented on is his specific wording regarding what he was referring to as being "off the deep end".

But hey, don't let me interrupt your presumptuous mind-reading schtick.....this stuff is priceless ;)

I thought I'd just responded to that, oh well.

Why don't you stop being condescending, presumptuous, and un-yielding to take asecond and consider what she's saying and have an actual.conversation.  You disagree on something; fine.  Discuss it.

I did discuss it thanks and I accepted seaotter's criticism.
I considered what she was saying, it was grounded in a misreading that was based on a logical fallacy.
Initially the criticism of TF was shown to be baseless so she retreated to a critique that he should have been clearer.

Having accepted seaotter's point, your subjective self-superior bullying crap is bullshit.

Take your own advice.

No.  Your passive, non-substantial dismissals are bullshit.  Why not admit you over-reached and had nothing to back up your assumptions of AxeGrrl's motivations and then we can resume our regularly scheduled discussion?  It's not a big deal.  Spirited discussions often lead to shit like this, but the refusal to admit even the most tangential of mistakes is what turns a comment about a failed seduction into a pointless shitstorm of massive proportions.

What on earth does pointing out that a phrase is ambiguous because it could be read/interpreted different ways have to do with a logical fallacy?

Please do explain what this 'logical fallacy' you're referring to is.

I already accepted that in seaotter's point about the irony of my post, hence my response about having already addressed this. Perhaps I was not clear enough or it was lost on you.

I humbly suggest that you have done nothing but try to escallate the shitstorm, thanks.

The irony.

I take your point, but that's not TF's doing.

The logical fallacy was pointed out unambiguously.

Is this what you are talking about?  I don't see where you did what I suggested.  You said you took his point, but your comment about TF seems to indicate you thought the point was about something related to him, not you.  I humbly submit that you weren't as clear as you thought.  Perhaps I'm just dense too.  I won't claim I'm not from time to time, but maybe expanding on the quoted comment for clarity's sake will resolve this and allow you all to move on.

I still have no idea what the 'logical fallacy' he's referring to is, or has to do with me merely commenting that TF's language could have been a little more clear/precise.

I think the "fallacy" was the percieved bias on your part.  If not, then I got nothing.

Perhaps it was just a high-probability guess?
