seaotter:
Cause it puts them in their place?

Beleth:
As someone who has had project management thrust upon him more than once, I have to say that he's spot on with his steps for success.

1) Choose goals
2) Prioritize
3) Focus resources

What's the goal of the skeptic movement?
What are the barriers to that goal?
Which barriers are high priority, and which are of lesser priority?
Where should the limited resources of the movement be focused?

seaotter:
I agree. He didn't state his goal. If I were making goals I'd say growing the numbers of folks who identify as skeptics should be the main goal right now.

Beleth:
I think his implied message is "Whatever the goals of the skeptic movement may be, 'make sure women feel safe in casino bars' is probably not the one we should be giving top priority."

seaotter:
Fair enough, but I think that's a straw man. I want offensive behavior to be challenged when it happens in a bar or not.
