Best Dr. Who Episodes

(1/4) > >>

Tatyana:
My other half doesn't like Dr. Who, yet I love it.

Please recommend some of the best episodes that I might convince him to watch at least one.

I personally love 'Blink'. So creepy.

Ansalem:
Any of the ones about the Weeping Angels are good. Also the one where they meet the Master at the end of the universe, I forget the name. I think it's a two-parter.

nomorewoo:
I love "Blink" as well but it's Tennant light which is the best part of the show, IMHO (though Smith has grown on me). I'll admit, up front that I can't watch classic Who- I've tried and I just can't. I've turned in my "true Whovian" card but still love each and every episode of the reboot. Some of my favorites...

With Christopher Eccleston:
Father's Day
The Empty Child (my fave with the 9th Doctor)
The Doctor Dances (the conclusion of The Empty Child)

With David Tennant: (really, any epi with him but my faves below)
The Impossible Planet
The Satan Pit (conclusion of Impossible Planet)
Fear Her
Army of Ghosts
Doomsday (conclusion of Impossible Planet)
Silence in the Library
Forest of the Dead (conclusion of Silence in the Library)
Midnight
Stolen Earth
Journey's End (conclusion of Stolen Earth)

With Matt Smith: (most are really great- even though Tennant will always be my fave Doctor Steven Moffet's writing really steps up with Smith)
The Eleventh Hour
Vincent and the Doctor
The Pandorica Opens
The Big Bang (conclusion of Pandorica)
The Impossible Astronaut
Day of the Moon (conclusion to Impossible)
The Wedding of River Song

Good luck with the conversion- my hubby doesn't get it but my kids do so I settle for that.  ;)

'Blink' is the first of the weeping angels episodes.

Eternally Learning:
I'm just now watching season 1 for the first time and I agree that empty child would likely be a good choice.  It genuinely creepy.  Haven't watched the second part yet though.
