Training Achievements & PRs
Plastique:
For any weight lifting exercises you do, what percentage of your body weight do you lift, and for how many reps? (Not including machine exercises because the weight rarely translates in a 1:1 fashion to directly lifting a free weight, plus there's so much variability between machines themselves that comparisons are pointless.)
Edit: changed thread to "Training Achievements & PRs".
Karyn:
Right now, I'm rolling at about half my body weight on most of my lifts. I hope to have that up to a 1:1 within the next 2 months.
lonely moa:
I'm working to get my shoulder back to normal. That's bench presses at body weight sets of five, one and a half times for dead lift sets and double for squats. My weight isn't much different to my age.
Not quite up to real chins and dips (only doing negatives atm), but I'm keen to be hanging that 10 kilo weight between my knees for sets of ten again.
Tatyana:
Bench press - almost 1:1
Military press ~0.5:1
Squats 1.5:1
Deadlift ~ 2:1
Samhain:
Bench Press: 1.75:1
Squat: 1.85:1
Deadlift: 2:1
Military Press: 0.9:1
