How much of the bible have you read?

JuniorSpaceman:
I've read all of the Pentateuch (lots of it studied, with commentaries, etc), and a fair bit of the rest of the OT. I haven't really read any of the NT, except for the references that used to turn up in heavy metal lyrics, or things I've come across on Skeptical/Atheist sites/podcasts/etc.

Bunsen:
Literary scholar.  Read it several times through for my undergrad studies.

Morvis13:
Cover to Cover but skipped some of the begats. Read it as a fiction book and it completely sucked.

Neon Genesis:
Read it cover to cover.  Some parts are better than others.

See how the Bible is a collection of individual books written at different tie s for differenet purposes and for different audiences, it makes sense that it would "suck" if you tried to read it a a single work of fiction.

However, if you are interested in the Bible as literature, back in the 90s there was a guy wrote a book called God: A Biography, in which he looked at how God developed as a literary character throughout the books of the Bible.
