So Apple may not have made an "asymmetric screw" but they are definitely making it very difficult to work on your MacBook.  They are using a proprietary screw head on the new MacBook Pro.  The RAM is soldered to the motherboard, the SSD drive is proprietary and the battery is glued to the case.  Not only is it hard (impossible) to work on but it makes it difficult to recycle the components when it's thrown away.  Kinda sucks.

I know you've said you have plenty of suggestions and ideas and just need money, but I really need to chip in my metaphorical 2 cents here.  It really stinks that my first post is bellyaching about how I didn't like something, but here goes...

I have to strongly echo the sentiments others have given about the characters you've chosen.  The bad "hick" accent attempt is only going to be funny to a certain percentage of people - mostly living in the northeast and along the left coast.  It was pretty offensive all by itself.  It didn't help that the attempt at making their faces dirty looked creepily reminiscent of blackface makeup.  It was like the "polack joke" from Raising Arizona: "Do you know why it takes so many Polacks to screw in a light bulb?  ...  'Cause they're so dang stupid!"

The erudite Occ was also an offensive caricature in its own way.  I'm not sure why we should be identifying with stuck-up gay British twits.  I'm not even sure that he was going for Brit or gay, but they both kept creeping through.  It was weird, not funny.

Coming from this team I was surprised at the lame and straightforward lambasting of the logical fallacies.  Just yelling "that's stupid" at the camera every time the caveman does something credulous doesn't communicate much of anything.  It certainly doesn't match what I'd expect Steve to do when confronted by Tom Cruise in a debate.  Real communication would come from having Occ discover truth through skeptical investigation, not via didactic bombast.  Skeptics don't "know everything" and just spout it off the top of their head.  They know how to find out if something is true or not (by applying the scientific method and sound reasoning).  That's what Occ should be doing.

Welcome aboard, but ...

I was sort of with you up to that point. You write a post complaining about stereotyping, then you add that!
Do people who say "First World Problems" really think the only concern of people in developing countries is where the next bowl of rice is coming from?
