Don't think I've posted this before.... From the guy who did the Neon Demon soundtrack (and I think the brother of the director):

Went back and relistened to Jonathan Coulton's Thing A Week project as well as Artificial Heart. I need to get into newer music but damn, he does a great job of making the mundane poignant.

Is singing/rapping over tracks a thing I was unaware of?  These two tracks are so amazing, I want more.  Scroobius Pip has no more, but are there other examples?

This afternoon, I dusted off an oldie (does an album from 1991 count as an oldie?): Prong, Prove You Wrong.
On the turntable as I type: Beatles, Rubber Soul.
This Friday however, will be dedicated exclusively to Mastodon (new album: Emperor of Sand). \m/

I'm a huge fan of Bumblefoot, who's guitar playing is featured here. But man Scott Stapp really sounds great here.  This brings me back to highschool, and i mean that in the best way possible.

hate his flow so much (at least, it seems really arbitrary that they threw this old verse over that beat), but the beat is sick
