Any listen to it at all?
I am listening to one where Hemant is interviewing a woman named Megan Fox. . . .No, not that Megan Fox.
Seems to be really loony.

I've never listened to his podcast although I've heard him a number of times as a guest on other podcasts. He always seems well spoken, intelligent, and interesting. But I think of Robert Price. As a guest, he's fantastic. Some of my favorite podcasts eps are those where he's on to talk about a subject he's knowledgeable about. However, his own podcast I can't really get into. It's kind of long and rambling.

Agreed on Robert Price.  I can listen to him when they are guiding him on topic.

DF is referring to this Megan Fox methinks:

I read the blog and listen to the podcast but it's kind of low on my list... seems like a lot of the same stuff over and over again.
Amend and resubmit.

I do think it is valuable to listen to the "other side" at times and it makes it easier to have somebody to try to steer the person away from the too crazy. I was driving home listening to it and found myself yelling at the radio.

She did apparently get some sexist remark including some people saying they want to rape her (Yes, I believe that) but whenever Hemant called her nuts (don't know what other term to use), she call him sexist. The problem is that what she was saay was just dumb.

The thing is that she states at some point of some sort of science conspiracy. Doesn't seem to be able to understand that science is about the evidence. She was talking about something in the museum being listed as 362 "billion" years old. Nothing is 362 billion years old but assuming "millions," we can tell by radioactive dating, index fossils, and several other methods.

Then goes on a tirade about the library letting people watch porn and masturbate in front of teenagers. The first appears to be true but pretty skeptical about the second. However, she apparently does not live in the town which the library is located and has cost them hundreds of thousands of dollars from her legal actions.

I highly recommend the episode "Accidental Terrorist"

There is just so much entertainment which comes out of the Mormon church.

That's the Field museum in Chicago! If you haven't gone and are in town see it. It is a great display. Since I live here I've seen it a few times.

Sorry I couldn't make it through the video. The little I have seen I can see why "the other side" thinks that way. Poor education and a lot of confirmation bias.

She claims to be college educated and to self teach herself. The problem is that my science is largely self taught especially with regard to evolution and I know quite a bit. You can learn this stuff on your own. I think she is being willfully dishonest.

If you are not subscribed, I would recommend you listen to the one with Frank Schaeffer - originally tied in with the Religious Right

I've heard him on at least one other podcast. Yes, he has an amazing story.

My general enjoyment of Robert Price really keeps me from listening to this podcast:
