Here is my first contribution. It's a sonnet. I'm a beginner poet, so I write a lot of sonnets.
I'm pretty sure it actually means nothing, but here you go.
The Symbol: Representative is it
Of what we might consider truer form,
What form we might, should luck prove opposite,
Imbibe with Sense—suspense of will performed.
So low should we consider then the Symbol—
A mere reflection of a truth embodied
In water as in stone, equally nimble—
That, lighter than the air, should not a God need?
The grace which I've received from my refinement
Of mind, which led to all that I've become
Should not let abstraction be its confinement,
Instead infuse this word with its whole sum.
The word, the form—the whole for which you stand—
Is whole when forced to call to your demand.
