This is the second floor of my Tahoe place. My wife did the decorating. The sword on the wall is my grandfathers WW1 cavalry sword. The musket is a Civil War era muzzleloader that shoots a 50 caliber miniball.
This is the guest bedroom at the Tahoe house. My wife chose the tile pattern and I made it so. All the pine trim was salvaged from a roof tear off I did a few years before. I got about 5000 BF of nice tight knot local Sugar Pine.
Below is my bath at the lake. It has air jets and makes lots of bubbles. My wife designed the tile pattern. I had to make each tile from larger pieces. The trim around the window is the same limestone that is on the floor. The house stays warm from a hydronic radiant system with a 2" Gypcrete thermal mass under the floor tile.
My wife found this antique copper kettle and we made a sink for our dog room. I had about five dogs at one time and I could gate them off the rest of the house when I was away.
This is the dog room with my quiver of skis.
