Why did Google send me two-step verification code?
« on: April 17, 2017, 06:31:37 PM »
I have two-step verification acitvated for my Gmail. Earlier today I changed password. When I came home today and afresh signed in with the new password, Gmail required me to enter a two-step verification code which it sent to my phone. Is that normal? It usually only sends me verification codes when I have cleared cookies.

Also, the message from Google was in English. It always sends me messages in Swedish otherwise.

At least, there is only my IP address in the log.
