Does anybody else here remember him?  I watched him when I was a wee lad and I think he is the one responsible for planting the Astronomy bug in me.

He gave very entertaining lectures and drew little cartoons to illustrate his points, often involving his cat, Minerva.

Thanks!  I'm glad he lived to such an advanced age because he was one of the good ones.
