One of my favorite quotes. Witty dude, that Descartes.

On a scale of 1 - 10, I give it a 9.
Bold ideas, unjustified anticipations, and speculative thoughts are our only means for interpreting nature... Those among us who are unwilling to expose their ideas to the hazard of refutation do not take part in the scientific game.    ---Karl Popper, "The Logic of Scientific Discovery"

I like your quote because it shows that Al Gore is knowledgeable about science, contrary to an awful internet rumor that he is a creationist. I give it an 8.
Science probes, it does not prove.

Not a fan of the last one - it's hyperbolic, and doesn't strengthen the case for evolution. 3/10.

GRAH double post.  Whatever happened to the delete button?

Anyway, the last one is one of my favorite lines from one of my favorite works.  8/10.

I have no opinion about the quote itself because I can't get over that it is in that pretentious quote box. 2/10.

I love the "if this writing is blue...", 9/10
(Assuming I'm understanding the joke  :?)

The link to the blog I've never clicked on.

Oops, I just realised I don't have anything witty on which to comment. Sorry 'bout that folks.

A blank canvas. Brilliant. It symbolizes openness to new ideas... or maybe a polar bear in a snow storm.. or maybe that we are all blind to the truth..

Whatever it means it deserves a 10/10
