Does anyone know what brand of sunglasses Jamie Hyneman wears?  They're very distinct and I've never seen any like them before...

Yeah.  They were super popular at ASU in the early 80's.  I used to have a pair of B&L Glacier Glasses.  I wore them all the time; I ended up looking like a reverse racoon when I took them off.  Kinda like this:  :shock:

Yeah, I remember when you weren't cool if you didn't have glacier sunglasses and Dexter hiking boots.

Maybe next the kids today will discover linen jackets over pastel t-shirts.

Julbo...the king of glacier glasses.  
They are not attractive at all (and were sort of trendy at some point) but if you really need some dark damn glasses and don't want any side view glare, you can't beat them.  

Incidentally, I have the Julbos with the round lenses.  When my daughter was in middle school I picked her up one day wearing these glasses.  She still talks about how her friends thought that I was some kind of serial killer.

Those damnable glacier glasses would be acceptable if he only wore them in the snow, but.... :lol:
