It's a pity we don't see more of this.

Why don't we do a TV series called "Crank vs Crank".

Find a pair of cranks with mutually exclusive viewpoints and get them to debate each other. Of course you would tell them that the name of the series is "Crossroads".

Episode 1) HIV conspiracy theorist vs HIV Denialist: Was HIV created as a biological weapon in a secret lab in the US or is it a vast hoax designed to keep virologists in the money?

Episode 2) Raelians vs Young Earth Creationist: God or Space Aliens, you decide.

Episode 3) Iridology vs Reflexology: Is the foot in the eye or the eye in the foot?

I know.  It's a very convincing deception, isn't it.

You see plenty of this on any conspiracy/woo forum worth anything.

I would fear it would be like the "big tent" idea behind creationism. Old earth, young earth, ID, even the Hare Krishna's trillion year old universe nutters all avoid actually debating much with each other and simply concentrate on attacking evolution.

Each, of course, is confident should evolution fall, their personal theory will be the obvious alternative.

I agree.  You also, unfortunately, end up with a lot of people in the Joe Rogan mold.  They aren't saying that the Moon landing was faked*, they are "just asking questions" and "seeking the truth".

It has to be hosted by Alex Tsakiris

I must be looking at the wrong ones. I have seen an occasional tiff between cranks but for the most part they form strategic alliances against whatever Big Science that they are fighting against and slap each other on the back for being intelligent to work outside of the box.
