Quote
After their eldest daughter saw a TV show about the 2012 Mayan prophecies, the Stewart family moved to a remote area of the Midwest, fearing that doomsday may be near. While Dawn and Grover don't talk about the end of the world in front of the younger kids, they do their best to ensure Kimberly (13), Odin (8), Freya (7) and Ian (5) are prepared for any eventuality. They have weekly survival training, and the kids take survival kits with them wherever they go. There are no extra-curricular activities for the kids, as their parentls want them home in case of disaster. From hazmat suits to gas masks, this home is stocked with survival gear, and there's a countdown board to TEOTWAWKI — The End Of The World As We Know It — December 21st, 2012. But it's not all doom and gloom; they cheerfully point out they've taken advantage of interest free credit till 2012 to furnish their home, as there will be no one around to collect.

I didn't actually watch this show because I have more than two working brain cells, but I saw it mentioned on Infomania, these people were really proud of their brilliant strategy to buy thousands of dollars worth of furniture and electronics with 0% financing/no payments until 2012. At first I was like "HAHAHA", but then I was like "Oh, that's kind of tragic".

 :(
But on the bright side maybe this will be a "life lessons" that introduces the younger ones to skepticism.

We should find their home address and send them thousands of printouts and CDs of the following Skeptoid episode:

Apocalypse 2012

This family is royally screwed when 2013 comes along and all those interest payments have to start.

I'm not sure I can bring myself to care. These people seem like they're the type of people who deserve whatever they have coming to them.

Their kids, on the other hand, are relatively innocent. Even if they believe what their parents are telling them it's probably only because they're their parents.

How cool is it that they named their kids after the norse gods Odin and Freyja?
For the life of me, I cannot figure out how a man can love a woman when a woman is just a screaming clear area with a wig on and a large middle where the smells come from.

Yeah.. I don't know why they chose just the middle kids to have cool names. Probably because they're the type of people who are mentally inconsistent.

This was the first Wife Swap I've seen for years. That family kept me watching.

I didn't watch the episode so all I have to go by is the picture in the OP.
