Also this story is from a year ago. And for some reason I can not find any real coverage of this story.
I buy it. Air conditioning for just me is several hundred a year. I don't live in an uninsulated tent, I don't live in the desert, and I keep my windows closed. If I had to run twice the AC 16 hours a day all through the hot season in a desert, with all my windows open and no insulation, it would probably end up costing me 10,000, and I wouldn't have to be carting convoys of diesel through a war-zone. That has to up the cost.
