SGU 5x5 on iTunes!
« on: May 07, 2008, 06:22:48 AM »
SGU 5x5 is currently on the front page of iTunes' podcast section, which pushed it up to the 82nd most popular show on all of iTunes and #3 of science shows. Full-strength SGU is currently #8 of science podcasts.

Thanks to everyone who has subscribed and/or left good ratings for us, on both shows!

The SGU has only one review and rating on the Belgian iTunes...

That's awesome but seeing the SGU 5X5 logo along with the sidebar indicating that the Oprah and Ekhart Tolle nonsense is the top podcast is a bit surreal and possibly a bit disturbing as well...

Only losers with things to do listen to 5x5. Give me SGU in a dark basement that smells of feet. Laying prone on a mouldy matress, naked with dorito crumbs on my chest... or dont give me any at all. This is the natural way of things.

I think many listeners are commuters who prefer shorter shows.

I never miss either the short one or the longer show. Skeptic's Guide is the podcast I look forward to every week!

I agree with Bill K.  I bought a couple of the old SGU T-shirts one for me and my dad.  As a graphic designer, I would like to see a stronger graphic/ SGU logo.

Anyway don't forget the issue that's even more important than the logo--should Jay say the name before or after the quote.  You have to go to the "messages from the panel" forum and click the bubble next to your choice.

I'm campaigning for "pro-choice."  So I think everyone should click "don't care."  Steve said that means you want Jay to decide.

LET JAY DECIDE!  LET JAY DECIDE!
