I have long believed that SETI was in some respects a waste of time and needed to get more clever in its search strategies.  This is a great piece of news.

I'm wondering if the magnetic field of the sun or it's electromagnetic radiation would be strong enough to mess up our transmissions, or block them completely.  I don't really know much about electromagnetic radiation.
If it says TATACACATATCCTCGT, then you'll probably wish that you didn't know.

I think that was one of the better 5x5 episodes.  Maybe the conversation seemed more together and flowed more naturally.
