Wouldn't it make more sense just to rename the Books section to Media, instead of making individual sections for each category..? That would keep the forum's main page from being too cluttered.

Notice how this forum has at the very top a folder that says: "Forum Maintenance"? That's basically what one idea is.

Media and then inside "Books" "Movies/TV" "Music"

The front page wouldn't be any more cluttered (unless those folders take up space on the front page.. do they?)

Ape and I are still on a vacation with my parents so we're online at a library in a city nearby. I think I like what you've done with the place ;)

It looks good! Hopefully it'll stay active.

I hope everything will stay organized :P My efforts in organizing the Book Forum sometimes seem hopeless, with people insisting on typo's in their titles, or not following the order in which every other thread title is presented. Example:

Robert Jordan - The Eye of the World (1990)
is the norm, and I edit every thread about a book to be similar to that: Author - Title (Year). There's still posts daily with things like:
eye ot world
or:
thje eye ofthe world by robert jordan
etc. :P

I hope that for TV series / films we can keep "Title (Year)" the convention, and I'll just edit titles to reflect that. I do keep lists of edited titles so that everything can be reverted back to original if desired.

Cool idea, but in the TV/Movie forum description it says "I'm ready for my close up Mr. Deville." The correct line is "All right, Mr. DeMille, I'm ready for my close-up." It's Gloria Swanson speaking to Cecil B. DeMille in Sunset Boulevard.

Just nit-picking, sorry. :)

Wow.  Sense of humor lost?  Not getting the play?

Ok, joke's over folks, the nitpicker missed it.

eta:

(Hint: It was a different movie.)

Ok, we'll make it nice and proper for the nitpicker.

I like it very much. It looks good, and I hope things will stay active. Maybe I won't get around to organizing it like the Book Forum is organized until two weeks from now, but eventually things will get nice and orderly :)
