I love Newbury Comics. It's where I buy all my used The Simpsons dvds. That can be kinda risky. One DVD has no sound unless you press 'play all episodes.' But I take the risk because I live on the edge.

Does anyone still use Limewire besides young teens? And this older woman at my work who thinks it's legal cuz you 'share files' with everyone..

When my brother lived in Boston I went to newbury comics a few times. Very cool place.

I tried it a again about 6 months ago. I loaded up my que and left for a few hours. When I came back something else was in control of my laptop. The background image was changed, there where sexy pop up's everywhere and nothing else would respond. After that I just loaded Ubuntu on it and have used some torrents with no problem but am always interested in other ways of getting and discovering music.  Limewire is bad news.

I go see the local bands and get the CD's as gifts ;) And at music festivals. Other than that I don't get my hand on many CD's, nor buy something except if I don't really like it and want to support it. And to be able to know if I like it - I download it, of course. I'd be wasting a lot of money on crap otherwise I think...(and missing out on bands that's not played on radio/tv)

Actually, I've been to Newbury, and just got a cd in the mail from them the other day! But I'll check out Emusic cause I don't know if I'm going to keep buying cds.

I used to but then it started tracking my browsing habits etc so I dropped it like a bad habit. For P2P, Soulseek based stuff is very good.

Whenever I talk about emusic, I feel like I'm doing guerrilla advertising because I just talk endlessly about how awesome it is. But seriously... it's awesome. Incredible selection, and I've found tons of new music just browsing the site.

Your guerrilla tactics must be working, because I, uh, I dreamt about shopping there last night.
