PM Issue
« on: August 20, 2008, 12:52:50 PM »
Posting here to see if others have the same issue.

When trying to send a PM, usually I type a quote, then start typing the person's name.  It will usually autocomplete with the person.

Today, as I type, it defaults to: "<head>" no matter what I am typing.

It's never given me <head>. Some people would consider you lucky.

Yes... very annoying... I'm assuming this glitch happened during the last forum maintenance period.  I have to type the name in the window and then paste it into the name field.

I have also been having this problem.  I brought it up to Hubbub, and he told me to report it here...  But I forgot :(  Thanks wastrel!

Yes, it says "<head> when typing.

I have this problem too.
I expect to pass through this world but once;
any good thing therefore that I can do, or any kindness that I can show to any fellow creature, let me do it now;
let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.

I'm investigating this along with the intermittent captcha issue.

I think that she was trying to help.  Knowing that the problem isn't affecting everyone might help narrow down the problem for ducky to troubleshoot.

Unless of course this was just a joke... at which point I look really dumb right now...

Errr wth, I just wondered if I perhaps don't understand the problem or really don't have it. I think that could be kind of useful here :-\

Whereas I am sort of annoyed that no one even acknowledged my play on words, even if to just point out how needless and/or stupid it was.
