Not much music comes out of DC. Sure back in the day it spawned some good punk and go-go but none of it ever got all that famous. I'm sure there some one I'm missing but can't think of it.

Henry Rollins
Dave Grohl
Tim Buckley
Duke Ellington
Marvin Gaye

and more...

yes but none of them suck. Well maybe Tim does, never heard of him and Dave Grohl is kinda hit or miss but would not say any of them are an affront to music.
Tim Buckley was awesome, or at least I thought so my freshman year of high school. I haven't listened to him in a while. He's better known as "Jeff's dad."

Godsmack is the only shitty Boston band that comes to mind.

So I found out that KC hasn't produced any affronts to music, however we are the birthplace of Silvia Brown and Rush Limbaugh.  LAME

OK, STOP!  I gotta call bullshit on 2 of you.  Both Bands disgraced the city's they where trying to represent. Boston, and Kansas.  I would say both qualify as an affront to that metro area. While KC should get a pass because the band is just named Kansas, your city is named after a state you are not in. KC its time to face the music for unwisely picking that name. I pick the  Boston, and Kansas as the greatest affronts to there own region.

ps I love both city's and have a lot of fun in both.   I pick cause I love.

I thought my examples made it clear...

I'd like to say Melbourne's worst is "Jet", but I'm ashamed to say...

Lee Harding. A heartfelt apology to all who know of him.

He went to my school. I feel so dirty.

EDIT: Special mention to the portion of Rogue Traders that we're responsible for. We're really, very sorry.
